NHS London has published the outcome of reviews into six mental health patients who were responsible for six separate homicides that took place between 2003 and 2006.
The six reports are ‘legacy' cases commissioned by NHS London, the capital's strategic health authority. These reports are being published a number of years after the original incidents occurred due to the complex and time-consuming process involved in putting the investigations together and the completion of any criminal proceedings.
