During the last few weeks we have seen a steady decrease in the number of people requiring treatment in the capital's hospitals for swine flu. Nevertheless, the NHS in the capital remains on alert so that we are ready and able to care for anyone with flu-like symptoms.

NHS London has today published four independent investigation reports into mental health homicides. The four reports are ‘legacy' cases and were commissioned by NHS London, the capital's strategic health authority (SHA), after it inherited them from the five previous SHAs in London when it was formed in 2006.
