    NHS London has not advised that all children attending A&E departments should be checked to see if they have a child protection plan in place. Doctors and nursing staff should use their professional judgement on whether an injury was non-accidental and act accordingly

  • Independent investigation in to the care and treatment of Mr D

    NHS London today published the independent reports into the care and treatment by of Mr D by Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust and Haringey Primary Care Trust. Mr D killed one person and injured five others, 23 December 2004. All victims were strangers to Mr D.

  • Independent investigation into the care and treatment of RR and AT

    NHS London has today published an independent investigation into the care and treatment of RR and AT. The independent report was commissioned jointly by South West London Strategic Health Authority and Kent and Medway Strategic Health Authority, now NHS London and NHS South East Coast respectively.

  • Parents urged to get toddlers vaccinated

    Professor Lindsey Davies, NHS London's Senior Public Health Director, said: ‘Although we are seeing a steady reduction in the number of reported swine flu cases, we expect H1N1 to be around as a flu virus for some years to come. By getting the jab now, it is likely to offer protection in the future.'
