Service Rehearsals

Service Desk Service Rehearsal: As part of the deployment cycle of a new product one of the final stages is for the Local Service Desk to carry out scenario tests. These tests are carried out to ensure all processes and communication links are working between the Trust and BT. The tests are conducted following a short workshop at which the BT Service Desk explain the incident management process and triage forms. The tests themselves comprise of high and low severity incidents and are designed to show how incidents progress through the various stages. Upon completion of successful tests the Local Service Desk is deemed ready to proceed with a Live service.

Change, Release and Problem Management Service Rehearsals: The service rehearsal process tests the communication channels by which the Trust will receive documentation from LPfIT. LPfIT will distribute a ‘dummy' document to the Trust to ensure all requested/required recipients/mailboxes receive the communication and are able to reply to the message
